Slippurinn's operations shall be conducted in such a way that the safety and health of employees are not threatened. Markvist works to reduce the impact of the company's operations on the internal and external environment. Slippurinn is aware of its external environment, ensures a healthy and safe working environment and protects its employees, equipment and valuables from accidents and damage. The values and policies of safety, health and the environment shall always be the guiding principle in all discussions related to the company's operations. The focuses and objectives of safety, health and the environment shall have the same weight as other main objectives of the company in decision-making, such as financial and operational objectives.


Warranty

The company's prevention efforts aim to achieve a zero-accident goal while minimizing the impact of operations on the internal and external environment. Managers at all levels are responsible for implementing and supporting the company's safety, health and environmental (SHE) policy at all times. Managers must promote general safety awareness among employees through education and affirmation. Managers should work closely with their employees in implementing and resolving SHE issues.


Scope

All employees of Slipp, subcontractors and visitors are required to follow Slipp's safety rules and ensure their own safety and that of others while working or staying within Slipp's premises. Personal responsibility remains with the individual at all times.


Organization

OHS matters are managed by the company's OHS manager. In addition, there is a working safety committee in the company, consisting of two safety officers appointed by the company's management and two safety representatives elected by the company's employees.
