Under the DNG brand, Slippurinn develops, manufactures, and services fish processing equipment and electric jigging reels for the fishing industry. DNG has established a strong position in international markets, and its equipment is in operation on fishing vessels and in fish processing plants around the world.

Slippurinn Akureyri is divided into four key areas that ensure a variety of services:


  • Ship Services Division provides ship maintenance and inspection services, as well as steel fabrication, mechanical repairs, carpentry, sand/water blasting and painting. The division offers complete solutions for marine companies and specializes in ship design, renovation and maintenance.
  • Aquaculture and Industry Division focuses on projects within the aquaculture sector, mainly at land-based fish farms. This department has extensive expertise and provides solutions and advice to aquaculture companies.
  • DNG Windlass division produces advanced electric winches, which diversify Slipp's product offering and serve the fishing industry in a variety of ways. DNG is a pioneer in this sector.
  • DNG Processing Solutions specializes in the design and manufacture of fish processing equipment under the DNG brand. This division provides premium maintenance services for the fishing industry, both at sea and on land, and offers complete solutions for fish processing.
